THE POWER OF REMEBRANCE (2)

"...But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God:

for it is He that giveth thee power to get wealth"

Deut.8:18 KJV

Child of God, you are going to be so blessed but when the blessing starts to manifest, don't forget where it is coming from. You know, some folks think it is their wisdom, expertise and connections that brought them success. Nothing could be further from the truth. There are many who have connections and nothing good is happening in their lives. There are many that are more educated and brilliant than you are, yet nothing good is happening in their lives. Nothing! You see, when God decides to bless you, He will bless anything you touch. If you like sell sand, the blessing will rest. Not because of the product but because heaven has decided to bless you. So remember Him and give Him the glory.

Covenant Will Speak For You

"The Lord thy God, He is God, the faithful God which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love Him and keep Hiscommandments." Deuteronomy 7:962

Let this mind be in you; you are the temple of God. You are the Ark of the Covenant. If any man touches you he has touched God. You are the apple of his eyes. This mindset creates boldness and boost impetus. It puts more speed in you knowing fully well that the battle is already fixed. Beloved, let's not walk about like beggarly elements of this world. We are not beggarly. We are not hopeless. The Bible says that it is those who do not know their covenant rights that are without hope and without God in this world. But when you have understanding of who you are, you are not without hope or without God. You are covenant child and covenant has to speak on your behalf.

"And thou shall remember all the way which the Lord thy God led thee these forty years..."

Deuteronomy 8:2 KJV.

When believers truly understand the dynamics of remembrance, they will appreciate God more than they are doing. Understanding the dynamics of remembrance will cause you to begin to worship and appreciate God irrespective of the challenges you are passing through. It will make you to honour Him because you will not only think of the immediate you will also remember what has happened in your life in the past.

You Can Not Fail

"...Christ in you, the hope of glory"  Col 1:27 KJV

In the book of Judges 7:1-7, God said to Gideon to go and confront the Midianities and he went up with 32,000 armed men. But God said they were too many. And by the process of elimination and subtraction they were reduced to 300 men. God was trying to say to His people that what changes the equation is that you are not ordinary. It does not matter how many they have, once you understand what you are made of, it changes everything.

GROW UP.

"Therefore, let us leave the elementary teachings about Christ and go on to maturity"

Hebrews 6:1 NIV.

There are certain things that are yours by virtue of your position in Christ. If you are not appropriating them, it is either you are operating in disobedience or you have refused to grow. There are believers who have been saved for several years, but there is no evidence of growth in their lives. In Galatians 4:1, God's word declares that "the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant; though he be Lord of all (KJV)." The heir is somebody who has inheritance, but he cannot enter into that inheritance until he grows up. For as long as he remains a child, you cannot tell the difference between him and a servant or slave. He is supposed to go with golden rings and royal apparel with servants serving him. But because he does not know his rights, he becomes a servant. And yet he is an heir.
