Dr. Mike Okonkwo is the Bishop of The Redeemed Evangelical Mission (TREM) a.k.a. Power in the Word with over 150 branches within and outside Nigeria.

Dr. Mike Okonkwo is an Apostle of God for our generation, whose life has impacted millions, who are planted around the world bringing their world to Jesus. He is a Father of Fathers, a Pastor of Pastors, a conference and seminar speaker, a crusade evangelist and an author.

His Holy Spirit inspired insight into the Word of God is outstanding and has been of tremendous blessing to multitudes. He is also the host of the popular Power in the Word Network- a television and radio broadcast within and outside the shores of Nigeria.

Dr. Mike Okonkwo is a graduate of the Morris Cerrullo School of Ministry and Covington Theological Seminary in USA. He is a holder of several doctorate degrees and honorary awards. He is the Convener of the Communion of Covenant Ministers International (CCMI) a coming together of Pastors for Fellowship, Covering, Mentoring, Imparting, Strengthening, Releasing and Networking, through conferences, seminars and other interactive sessions, a co-host of the National Ministers Conference (NMC), the Presiding Bishop of TREM, a member of the National Advisory Council (NAC) of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria.

He is the Patron and Founder of the Empowerment for the Less Priviledged Foundation, a non-governmental organisation committed to alleviating the plight of the less-privileged in the society through donations to hospitals, establishment of free vocational training centres, running free preparatory schools for students on the secondary schools, free distribution of health pamphlets amongst others. He also actively supports the youth by giving scholarships to brilliant but educationally challenged youths.

Bishop Mike Okonkwo is married to Bishop Peace Okonkwo and they are blessed with a daughter, Uche
