Parenting Tips
Here, Aunty Joy from the Children church will bring you tips to help you with the wonderful demanding and challenging task of raising your children in a changing world.

Back to School Tips
Have you taken out time as the season for children to go back to school draws close to pray for the next class your children will be in; that they will be in the right and God ordained classes, with the right group of children and teachers that will move them cklose to their God-ordained destinies? I bet you, it's worth praying about.

Take out quality time in a relaxed environment to discuss with your children (individually) your realistic expectations of them for the next school year. Help them to set realistic goals for themselves for the school year and keep praying with them and helping them achieve their set goals.

The spiritual growing medium that parents of faith provide for their children is their own faith. Children with immature root system grow in the garden of their parents' faith and this day-by-day acess is a tremendeous advantage in life.

As a parent, try to become a spiritual opportunist, finding ways whereever you are and at whatever time to teach your children to recognize the working of God in their lives.

You can learn to show your children how eternal truth can jump off the pages of the scripture into real life or how God becomes part of their daily inner dialogue through prayers. Recognize that you share a walk with your children, not just a set of belief.

Our passion vs our childrens values
As parents, we shape our children's faith primarily through the relational grid. The daily sharing of family life gives us access to our children's souls. If there is authentic bonding in the home, a child will benefit immensely, not only to the point of faith but to a special spiritual sensitivity.

Living with "faith-shaped" parents provides children an opportunity for exposure to God and to a more mature faith.

Until children recognise the sign of God's leading and are spiritually mature, they will not know how to trust God themselves; they will need to see God as trustworthy based on the track record in their parents' lives.

Our passion vs our childrens values
If we hold to the conviction that faith is the greatest life advantage, we must set our hearts towards it. If we do not clearly pursue this core value with the kind of parental energy we put into other things, then faith may be perceived by our children as having little or no value in real life.

Your passions shape your childs value.
